Societal developments and the impact of COVID-19 have brought into stronger focus the importance of inclusive leadership as an integral driver of effective organisational and system performance. The unprecedented challenges facing the NHS call for leaders to create the cultural shift towards a truly inclusive culture that values people and delivers a tangible and positive experience for all staff and patients.

Lead facilitator

Marian Hubbell  

Marian is a Trainer and Coach, specialising in communication. Her expertise includes the written and spoken word, how we communicate with ourselves, and the impact of communication on relationships, influence, and confidence.  

 Marian’s early career was in HR and training management in the NHS, winning NHS Trainer of the Year. She went on to lead a performance improvement team to support business transformation in local government. She is currently an NHS Elect Associate and Independent Consultant, designing and delivering development and coaching programmes. She also works part-time as a Counsellor in the NHS IAPT service. 

 As well as having a Foundation Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, Marian is a qualified Trainer and Master Practitioner of NLP and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
