You are invited to our join us for the next meeting of NHS Elect's QI Network.
We’re delighted to be joined at our next network meeting by Tracey Herlihey, Head of Patient Safety Incident Response Policy at NHS England. Tracey will be discussing the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF), which sets out the NHS’s approach to developing and maintaining effective systems and processes for responding to patient safety incidents for the purpose of learning and improving patient safety.
The framework represents a significant shift in the way the NHS responds to patient safety incidents and is a major step towards establishing a safety management system across the NHS. We’ll be at the implications for those of us in QI and NHS Elect member, Michelle Millard, the National Quality Improvement Lead at Spire Healthcare has very kindly agreed to share her experiences of the PSIRF.
