The business and system development workstream have a track record of engaging across organisations with colleagues at all levels to enhance self-learning, understanding and applying problem-solving approaches within the complex systems they work.

The core team have more than 100 years combined public and private sector experience.

Our coaching faculty was established in 2010. It has since expanded to provide a broad range of healthcare organisations with an array of coaching interventions.

Each accredited member of the team has extensive senior management experience in the NHS, and the faculty is also registered with the Association for Coaching.

Customer Care and Patient Engagement

With the NHS Long Term Plan, Francis Report and the Friends and Family Test, it is not surprising that this workstream is popular with our members.

The team has trained more than 3,000 people across member sites, including consultants, receptionists and non-patient facing staff.

Leadership and OD

The Leadership and Organisational Development Workstream combines rigorous training in OD with extensive experience of the NHS and beyond. Their work focuses on maximising the potential of staff to inform and deliver organisational priorities.

The team have worked with leaders at more than 150 NHS organisations.

Marketing, Communication and Branding

NHS Elect is unique in that it is the only NHS organisation that provides strategic and operational marketing and communications support, ranging from writing plans and strategies to delivering microsite websites.

Both directors in the Marketing, Communication and Branding Workstream are qualified to MBA (Distinction) level.

QI and Measurement

The Quality Improvement and Measurement Workstream utilise a host of improvement tools and techniques as well as their extensive experience to improve the quality of services and in turn the patient experience.

In addition to serving our members, the team also work with three national networks: the Acute Frailty Network (AFN) Same Day Emergency Care Network (SDEC) and Specialised Clinical Frailty Network (SCFN).
