The pandemic has decimated the elective waiting list position of most providers. Getting a good operational grip on exactly where your waiting lists are will be a challenge for many, let alone developing a plan to begin the long steep road to recovery.

Darren Leech and Piers Young from NHS Elect will be talking about their experiences and insights related to elective care provision and how these might help those facing the enormous challenge of providing elective care in 2021 and beyond.

Sharing a clear definition of elective care, Darren and Piers follow this up with a critical list of good waiting list management tips.  The agenda moves on to share common waiting list management errors and ways to build a coherent and realistic recovery plan.

Darren and Piers welcome questions in advance - please send yours to claire@nhselect.org.uk
