This two hour session provides an introduction to the 'hard to understand' topic of NHS finance for anyone currently not working in this area. 

By the end of the session, delegates will have gained a good understanding of how NHS finance can impact on anyone working in the NHS and will help you with your interactions with the finance department.

The session will provide a better understanding of how NHS organisations get their money; what they do with it; how they try to manage their money; what a typical budget looks like and what you need to look at and what your finance department wants from you.
