About the session

Many of us got our first manager's job because we didn't get out of the way quickly enough! What might have been a short term promotion to cover someone's parental leave or secondment, turns into a substantive role but without the training in how to do it. So, we have to work out for ourselves things like budgets, rosters, recruitment, managing ourselves and staff etc.

Come along to hear from one of the authors of this brilliant book, Brian Dolan - who will be sharing pithy advice, insights and wisdom.

Who is this course for

It's aimed at anyone in a leadership role who'd like to pass on their experience or who are thinking of becoming a manager at any level
