How does the programme work?

The programme is delivered through four interactive online workshops, each lasting three hours, supported by practical exercises and opportunities to apply learning between sessions.

Each workshop focuses on a different aspect of personal productivity, helping participants to gradually build a complete and practical system for managing their time.

Workshop 1: Motivation, Mindset and the Psychology of Productivity

The programme begins by exploring the psychological factors that influence how we manage our time.

Participants will examine common barriers such as procrastination, perfectionism and difficulty saying no, and explore how habits and mindset shape productivity. The session introduces practical approaches to building better habits, setting meaningful goals, and creating the motivation needed to make lasting changes.

Workshop 2: Prioritising and Planning Work Effectively

This session focuses on how to make better decisions about what deserves your time, and how to translate those decisions into a clear and manageable plan.

Participants will explore prioritisation frameworks such as urgent vs important and impact vs effort, before applying these to their own work. The session then introduces practical planning techniques, including daily planning, task breakdown and time blocking, helping participants to structure their workload more effectively.

Workshop 3: Managing Focus, Interruptions and Attention

In modern working environments, maintaining focus can be one of the biggest challenges to productivity.

This session explores how distractions, interruptions and communication overload affect our ability to work effectively. Participants will learn practical techniques for protecting their focus, managing interruptions, and structuring their work to support sustained concentration.

Workshop 4: Using Technology to Save Time

The final session focuses on how digital tools and technology can support more efficient ways of working.

Participants will explore practical ways to use day-to-day tools like Outlook and Microsoft Planner more effectively and reduce administrative workload. The session also explores how AI and automation can be used to support productivity.
