What is CQIP?

The Collaborative Quality Improvement Practitioner (CQIP) Programme is an evidencebased national development resource that equips health and care staff with the core knowledge, skills and tools needed to contribute to, and lead, successful quality improvement work.

Codesigned with improvement experts from across the UK and Ireland, CQIP brings together:

• Improvement science
• Systems thinking
• Relational approaches to change
• Practical tools for delivering real, sustained change

The CQIP programme resources will be published in May 2026. The published product  includes slides, a participant workbook, delivery guidance, templates, case studies and supporting materials.

By joining the TraintheTrainer programme now, your organisation will be among the early adopters helping to shape how CQIP is embedded and delivered across health and care systems.
